The conference will be held at La Villa Clythia.

Nestled within a beautiful 2.5-hectare wooded park, Villa Clythia offers a peaceful and inspiring setting for our conference. Ideally located in the heart of the residential district of Valescure and just 3 km from the sea, the venue combines tranquility, natural surroundings, and convenient access to the Mediterranean coastline.

Its green environment and quiet atmosphere provide an excellent setting for focused discussions and informal exchanges among participants.

During your stay, a range of on-site leisure facilities are available to relax between sessions, including:

Access

Arriving from Marseille

By train:
Regular TER and TGV trains run from Marseille Saint-Charles to Saint-Raphaël–Valescure (the closest station to Villa Clythia). The journey typically takes about 1h30–2h, depending on the service.

From Saint-Raphaël–Valescure, you can reach Villa Clythia by:

  • Bus (Line 3): depart from Saint-Raphaël Gare Routière (next to the SNCF station) towards Fréjus Gare Routière. Buses run approximately hourly and the ride takes about 15 minutes (timetables on the Agglobus CAVEM website).

  • Taxi: taxi ranks are available at the station (about 10–15 minutes to the venue).

By plane (via Marseille Provence Airport):
If you arrive at Marseille Provence Airport (MRS), take the airport shuttle bus to Marseille Saint-Charles (about 25 minutes), then continue by train to Saint-Raphaël–Valescure. From there, take Bus Line 3 or a taxi as described above.
Driving from Marseille Airport to Fréjus takes around 1h30 (traffic dependent).

 

Arriving from Nice

By plane (Nice Côte d’Azur Airport):
The closest airport is Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE), about 60 km from Fréjus.

From Nice Airport, several options are available:

By train:
The Nice Saint-Augustin station is less than a 10-minute walk from the airport. Trains run from Nice Saint-Augustin to Saint-Raphaël–Valescure (around 1 hour). From Saint-Raphaël–Valescure, continue by Bus Line 3 or taxi.

By bus:

  • Bus 3003 (Var Lib network): from Terminal 1 or 2 to Fréjus town centre.

  • Route 20A (PACA regional line, Nice–Marseille): from Terminal 1 to the centre of Fréjus.

By shuttle or taxi:
Private shuttle services operate between the airport and Fréjus (e.g., Eco Shuttle Network, A-T-S.net). Taxis are also available; travel time is typically 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic.
